Wednesday, January 18, 2006, Knight Transportation, Inc., an Arizona
corporation (the "Company"), issued a press release (the "Press Release")
announcing its financial results for the quarter and twelve months
ended
December 31, 2005. A copy of the Press Release is attached to this
report as Exhibit 99.1.

Due
to a typographical error, the press release issued by the Company
on
Wednesday, January 18, 2006 announcing its financial results for
the
quarter and twelve months ended December 31, 2005 incorrectly identified
the record date of the Company's previously announced cash dividend.
The
cash dividend of $.02 per share to be paid on February 14, 2006 will
be to
shareholders of record on January 31, 2006, not to shareholders of
record
on January 30, 2006, as indicated in the press release. The Press
Release
attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1 has been updated to correct
that
record date.
