On January 12, 2015, Morningstar, Inc. announced that Daniel Needham, CFA, has been appointed president and chief investment officer for the Morningstar Investment Management group, effective February 2, 2015. Thomas Idzorek, CPA, CFA, who has served as president of the Morningstar Investment Management group since 2013, will take on a new role as head of investment methodology and economic research for Morningstar. On January 12, 2015, Morningstar announced that Rob Pinkerton, chief marketing officer of HelloWallet Holdings, Inc., a Morningstar subsidiary, has been appointed chief marketing officer of Morningstar, effective immediately.
