Item 8.01. Other Events.
 
On July 12, 2007, China Fire & Security Group, Inc. (“Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company has been approved for listing on The NASDAQ Capital Market (“NASDAQ”). The Company expects to commence trading on NASDAQ on July 16, 2007. The stock trading symbol will be “CFSG.”

A copy of the news release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
