ITEM 2.02. RESULTS OF OPERATIONS AND FINANCIAL CONDITION.
On June 30, 2006, Atlantic Coast Federal Corporation announced that its
Board of Directors has voted to increase the quarterly cash dividend rate from
$0.09 per common share to $0.10 per common share. The higher dividend is payable
on July 31, 2006, to stockholders of record as of July 14, 2006. The full text
