On October 31, 2007, Ampex Corporation announced that it intends to issue its preliminary unaudited third quarter 2007 earnings release to the press after the markets close on Wednesday, November 7, 2007. The Company will also hold a conference call with analysts, the media and shareholders to review its financial results. A copy of the press release is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
