Flow International Corporation (Nasdaq: FLOW), the world’s leading developer and manufacturer of industrial waterjet machines used for cutting and cleaning applications, today announced that on February 6, 2008 it received a request for additional information and documentary material from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in connection with its intent to acquire OMAX Corporation.

Flow intends to respond promptly to the information request (also known as a “second request”) as the FTC conducts its review under the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act.
