Item 8.01 Other Events.
On December 2, 2013, Invesco Mortgage Capital Inc. issued a press release announcing that its board of directors had approved an increase to its share repurchase program of an additional 20 million shares of its common stock and providing an update to certain residential and commercial loan investments closed in the fourth quarter. A copy of that press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
