Item 8.01.    OTHER EVENTS

On February 5, 2018, FLIR Systems, Inc. (the “Company”) completed the sale of its Canadian security products subsidiary, Lorex, Inc., in a transaction that also included it’s small and medium-sized security products business for approximately $29 million in cash.

The news release issued February 6, 2018 is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 to this Report and shall not be deemed to be filed for purposes of Section 18 of the Exchange Act.
