Olin disclaims any intention or obligation to update or revise this information.
Attached as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference, is a copy of a press release dated January 23, 2012 announcing the formation of a joint venture between Olin’s Winchester Division and BAE Systems Ordnance Systems, Inc. to pursue the U.S. Army’s contract to manage, operate and maintain the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant (Lake City) which produces small-caliber military ammunition. Today, the new company, U.S. Munitions, LLC, will submit a proposal for the Lake City contract, which has a potential value in excess of $2 billion in sales over 10 years. The U.S. Army has solicited proposals for the Lake City contract and is expected to reach a decision by October 2012. The new operating contract is scheduled to begin fully on October 1, 2013, following a one-year transition period.
