On October 12, 2004, Oshkosh Truck Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release (the “Press Release”) announcing that the Company has not been selected by the U.K. Ministry of Defence as the preferred bidder for the Ministry’s Support Vehicle Program. A copy of the Press Release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein.
