Elbit Systems Announces the Results of its
Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders Held on March 4, 2010

Haifa, Israel, March 7, 2010 - Elbit Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ : ESLT) (the "Company") announced today that at its Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on March 4, 2010 at the Company's offices in Haifa, the proposed resolution - that Dr. Yehoshua (Shuki) Gleitman be elected as an External Director of the Company for a first term of three years, commencing on March 4, 2010 and ending on March 3, 2013, as described in the Proxy Statement to the Shareholders dated February 4, 2010 – was approved by the required majority.
