(b) On September 27, 2010, Mr. Nigel Wright, a Director of Spirit AeroSystems Holdings, Inc.
(the Company), informed the Company of his intention to resign from the Board of Directors of the
Company, as a result of his acceptance of an appointment as the Chief of Staff to the Prime
Minister of Canada. Mr. Wrights resignation will take effect during the meeting of the Board of
Directors to be held on October 26, 2010. Mr. Wright did not make this decision as the result of
any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Companys operations, policies or
practices.
