Yahoo to Lay Off 1% of its Workforce : Report

CNBC is reporting that Yahoo! (YHOO) will layoff 1% of its workforce (about 150 people), part of the Web Portal’s efforts to cut costs and restructure its business. According to Allthingsd, the layoffs are largely taking place in the media and advertising group. Yahoo has a 14,000-person workforce.
