GLOBAL MARKETS-Oil rises above $124/barrel but stocks stay higher

NEW YORK, Feb 24 (Reuters) - Oil prices rose more than $1 a barrel on Friday as the United Nation's nuclear watchdog said Iran has sharply stepped up work on uranium enrichment, putting Brent crude on track for a fifth straight weekly gain.
