Intevac to Participate in Intersolar North America 2012

Intevac, Inc. (Nasdaq:IVAC) announced today that the company will participate in Intersolar North America in San Francisco. Intevac will showcase their revolutionary, high value, low-cost solutions for the solar industry.

Intevac will feature its LEAN SOLAR™ processing platform that offers the benefits of high productivity and precise film property control in a small footprint. The LEAN SOLARTM platform, and its suite of applications, enables the production of high efficiency crystalline-silicon cells. The compact ENERGi™ implant product application offers higher cell efficiency through precise boron and phosphorous doping, and is extendible to advanced solar cell technologies. The NanoTexture™ etch product application reduces surface reflectance, and the resulting uniform black surface improves the aesthetic appeal of multi and quasi-mono wafers. Intevac will also present a paper titled “Engineering Advanced Solar Cells with High Throughput Ion Implantation” at the annual SEMICON West Junction Technology Seminar on Thursday, July 12th.

Intevac Booth #5870 will be located in Moscone Center, North Hall. Booth hours are Tuesday and Wednesday, July 10th and 11th from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Thursday, July 12th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
