Intevac to Participate in the 27Th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition

Intevac, Inc. (Nasdaq:IVAC) announced today that the company will participate in the 27th EU PVSEC, in Frankfurt, Germany. Intevac will showcase their revolutionary high-value, low- cost solutions for the solar industry.

Intevac will feature its LEAN SOLAR™ processing platform that offers the benefits of high productivity and precise film property control in a small footprint. The LEAN SOLARTM platform, and its applications, enables the production of high efficiency crystalline-silicon cells. The compact ENERGi™ implant product offers higher cell efficiency through precise phosphorous and boron doping, and is extendible to advanced solar cell technologies. The NanoTexture™ etch product reduces surface reflectance, and the resulting uniform black surface improves the aesthetic appeal of multi-crystalline cells. Intevac will also present a talk entitled “Increase Cell Efficiency and Lower Cost Watt with Enabling Solar Solutions” on Tuesday, September 25th at 2:45 p.m. in the Exhibition Forum.

Intevac will take part in the Visual Presentation Program and will present two Ion Implantation papers on Wednesday, September 26th from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Exhibition Forum at the Messe.

Intevac Booth E3 will be located in Hall 3 at the Messe Frankfurt and Congress Center, Frankfurt, Germany, September 25th through September 28th. Hours are Tuesday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
