Intevac to Participate in the 7th International Photovoltaic Power Generation Conference and Exhibition in Shanghai, China

Intevac, Inc. (Nasdaq:IVAC) announced today that the company will participate in the 7th International Photovoltaic Power Generation Conference and Exhibition in Shanghai, China. Intevac will showcase their high value, low-cost solutions for the solar industry.

Intevac will feature its LEAN SOLAR™ processing platform that offers the benefits of high productivity and precise film property control in a small footprint. The LEAN SOLAR™ platform, and its applications, enables the production of high efficiency crystalline-silicon cells. The compact ENERGi™ implant product offers higher cell efficiency through precise phosphorous and boron doping, and is extendible to advanced solar cell technologies. The NanoTexture™ etch product reduces surface reflectance thus increasing efficiency. Intevac will also be presenting a paper titled “Ion Implantation for n- and p-type Silicon Solar Cells“ on Wednesday, May 15th.

Intevac Booth #235 will be located in Hall E3 of the Shanghai New International Exposition Center. Booth hours are Tuesday and Wednesday, May 14th and 15th from 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Thursday, May 16th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
