Recently many of the automobiles come with a push to start keyless ignition as a standard feature. The consumers have been getting very used to it and enjoying the convenience of this feature. yesNOkeys comes with two RFID tags, an activation card and a deactivation card. The system uses RFID technology to securely assign an RFID tag in the form of a wristband or a key fob to a specific vehicle. In addition to that, the same RFID tag can be assigned to other vehicles in the case of a fleet or a small group of vehicles. With the secure keyless ignition, “key management” feature is very crucial. In the event where the user loses the traditional key, user do not have many options that he or she has the full control on it. The most common options are to go to the dealership or to go to a locksmith to have a “copy” of the key. Both options require time and money. With the yesNOkeys system, the user has the power to create (activate) a blank RFID tag by using the activation card whenever there is a need. If there is a concern with the tags for some reason, the deactivation card can be used to erase all tags and start from scratch easily. It helps to both residential users and also the fleet owners. A golf course with multiple golf carts, a farm with several different utility vehicles or a resident with different types of utility or outdoor sports vehicles are the possible users for this product. As long as the ignition system uses a regular 12V battery power, the possibilities are endless. We can add boats, jet skis, snowmobiles, rat rods and dune buggies to our possible user list.
