Intevac to Participate in 2014 Interservice/Industry Training Simulation and Education Conference

Intevac, Inc. (Nasdaq:IVAC) announced today that the company will participate in the 2014 Interservice/Industry Training Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC). Intevac Photonics will showcase their innovative high-resolution near-eye display systems.

Intevac is an acknowledged leader in the design, development and manufacture of near-eye and head-mounted display systems used for training and simulation, as well as in various soldier systems including thermal weapon sights, remote viewing systems and digital night vision systems. Our displays cover the performance range from moderate field of view VGA resolution viewers to ultra-wide field of view HD and 2K x 2K resolution virtual reality systems with fields of view beyond 100 degrees. We provide product versions with both monochrome and color imagery, compatible with either single or dual stereo video inputs. Intevac also offers a full complement of engineering design resources to customize our display products when required for specific applications. Product demonstrations will take place in the booth.

Intevac Booth #632 will be located at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Booth hours are Monday, December 1st through Thursday, December 4th, from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Interservice/Industry Training Simulation and Education Conference promotes cooperation among the Armed Services, Industry, Academia and various Government agencies in pursuit of improved training and education programs, identification of common training issues and development of multiservice programs.
