Innovative Early Childhood Education Program Goes Far Beyond the ABC’s
PRLog - April 6, 2015 - LAKE FOREST, Calif. -- April 2, 2015 — Responding to a growing demand in Southern California and across the nation, DiMiYa today entered the U.S. market unveiling its one-of-kind facility to provide children with a comprehensive and creative approach to education at an early age with its new center in the City of Lake Forest.

Local businesses, community leaders, elected officials and early childhood education experts, along with DiMiYa staff, marked the opening with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting event at the new center which is located at 26497 Rancho Parkway South, Lake Forest, CA.

“We’re excited to offer a distinctive educational experience blending the arts, culture, language, geography and more into an elite early childhood preparatory program,” said Jean Navarro, chief operating officer for DiMiYa. “Parents have been demanding a fresh approach that better prepares their children for a 21st century world and it's available starting today.”

The new learning center will feature a wide variety of programs and services. In addition to academic fundamentals such as reading, writing and basic math, young scholars will be introduced to an array of physical, visual, and audio arts such as music, dance, voice and martial arts.  Children will also learn about geography, history, culture, language, and global customs and traditions through an integrated curriculum specifically designed for ages 4 - 7.

“This is a whole new experience for families, who will have full access to DiMiYa’s unique suite of academic programs,” said Jenda Turner, center director for DiMiYa Lake Forest. “Clearly, we are not a daycare or kindergarten but rather a learning center where children are taught to be life-long scholars and encouraged to think globally.”

Students are currently able to enroll in DiMiYa’s eight week Talent Discovery Summer Camp that will highlight three European countries: Italy, France and England focusing on the Renaissance Era.  Scholars will have fun researching famous people, places and contributions to society during that historic period. Summer camp is scheduled to start June 29th.

“We provide a total nurturing environment because there’s so much at stake, it’s such a critical stage in a child’s development,” Turner said, “and we strongly encourage parents to be involved to ensure overall success.”

“It’s certainly not a cookie-cutter or one-size-fits-all approach to early childhood education,” Navarro said. “There hasn’t been anything quite like DiMiYa before, until now.”

The DiMiYa center hours are: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. For more information, please visit www.dimiyascholars.com or dial 1-844-4-DiMiYa (1-844-434-6492).
