Crédit Agricole CIB Appoints Chris Boyce-Valentine as Vice President, Ratings Advisory

Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank -- the corporate and investment banking arm of the Crédit Agricole Group, the world’s eighth largest bank by total assets - today announced the appointment of Chris Boyce-Valentine as a Vice President, Rating Advisory, thereby expanding the Credit Agricole CIB’s rating advisory capabilities in the Americas. Mr. Boyce-Valentine was previously an Associate Director with the credit rating agency, Standard & Poor’s in its New York office.

Mr. Boyce-Valentine will work with the banks’ clients to help them optimize their financing structures and assist them in working with credit ratings agencies. Chris will report in the U.S. to Gary Herzog, Head of Debt Optimization and Distribution for the Americas, and globally to Alexandre de Lestrange, Global Head of Ratings Advisory.

Boyce-Valentine was a credit analyst with S&P for the past five years, specializing in the media sector, having previously been associated with Edward Jones Investments as a fixed income trader from 2006 to 2008 before entering Columbia Business School, where he earned an MBA. He holds an undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, where he majored in finance and marketing.
