Italy looks so different in Eolo's Black and White Street Photography.
PRLog - July 16, 2015 - ROMA, Italy -- The new website of the Italian photographer Eolo Perfido dedicated to his Street Photography is online.
In the beginning of his photography journey, he had the honour to assist and learn from great masters such as Steve McCurry, Elliott Erwitt, James Nachtwey and Eugene Richards.
The Street Photographer Magazine wrote, "Italy seems a different place in black and white pictures of Eolo Perfido. The country that we are used to seeing in color, takes on a very different atmosphere, almost distant and classic that takes us back to an Italy that for some reason reminds us of Italy a few years after the second world war."
As one of the resident photographers at the Leica Akademie in Italy, Eolo also teaches Street Photography workshops around the world and is a Leica Master.
Eolo teaches street photography to young photographers, but also to professionals who are specialized in other genres of photography. Street Photography is, of all photographic disciplines, one of the most complete and useful to develop the ability to take pictures in any situation.
Regardless of the photographic genre that is practiced, whether it is for passion or profession, Eolo always recommends to his students and colleagues who come to his classes to practice, and often, if not everyday, a lot of street photography.
He says, "Street Photography is a tool for personal growth, because it forces you to interact with people, places and cultures, and also is a tool of professional growth, because it allows you to have greater confidence and to master the techniques about the study of the light in situations where you have no control of it."
Eolo Perfido photography has been featured in magazines such as NY Times, Communication Arts, Panorama First, Vision, Vogue Russia, GQ Russia, L’Espresso, and Computer Arts and in the last ten years he worked for several international agencies and clients such as JWT, Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett, BBDO, Corbis, Pepsi Cola, Samsung, Kraft, Gatorade, Sky Television, Novartis and Opel.
Eolo was born in Cognac (France) the 10 February of 1972. He lives in Rome and works all over the world.
