FAA reactive strategy of Drone Registration won’t stop a drone crash. But proper education from DroneU will.

By: PRLog
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Dec. 18, 2015 - PRLog -- The FAA is taking steps to get control of the huge number of new drones now flying in the nation’s airspace. Their latest proposal is a national drone registration program so they can track the owner of a drone that crashes. It is still unclear how a reactive drone registration will make our national airspace safer.

Drone U, (a New Mexico company), has a better answer. Rather than have the FAA react after a crash, Drone U would rather teach the new drone pilot to avoid a crash in the first place. Many pilots crash their new drone within the first week of flying.

Paul Aitken, the Chief Pilot at Drone U, said, “Trial and error is not a strategy … it’s insanity.” Too many new drone pilots are getting themselves and their new drone in trouble by “trying” to fly without getting effective and specific training before crashing their drone. New Drone pilots tend to search YouTube for training videos that lack experience and systems knowledge necessary to avoid crashing their new drone.

To help make our airspace safer, Drone U is giving away their Don’t Crash Course™. New drone pilots can ask their drone provider for the access code to get this course for free. If their hobby or drone store does not have this coupon, the new pilot should have the store contact Drone U for a supply of these course coupons.

This 90-minute online course covers fundamentals such as where to fly, how to avoid the most common problems new pilots encounter, and how to safely enjoy your new drone without crashing. This training goes far beyond anything provided by the manufacturer of a drone, or the “self-help” videos on YouTube.

This special offer of free training is available for a limited time, so drone pilots should take advantage of this opportunity right now. For additional information, please contact Drone U at DU.
