TEMECULA, Calif. - Jan. 8, 2016 - PRLog -- Nathanael (Nate) Burns’ movie, titled SUPER MOVIE, is being screened at its 3rd International Film Festival on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 11am at the Irvine International Film Festival which will be held at 24155 Laguna Hills Mall, Laguna Hills, CA 92653. He is 10 years old!
Nate Burns woke up one morning, in the 1st grade, and knew he wanted to make a movie! He asked his parents what the first step would be. They responded – write a script! He sat down and wrote his movie, SUPER MOVIE. After much work and consultations with a Los Angeles film and commercial producer, he held auditions with his classmates, friends, and family, and started filming with his chosen cast and crew. Nate was integrally involved in every aspect of the film including: screenwriting, acting, directing, editing, and production.
Nate Burns, creator and director, said this about the making of SUPER MOVIE, “This movie has been a dream come true and to have done it at such a young age – and I encourage every boy and girl in the world to set in their mind a goal and don’t stop until you finish.”
Nate’s dream was to see his movie shown in a movie theater and in the 2nd grade his dream became a reality! Nate and his dad, Brian Burns, rented a local movie theater and screened SUPER MOVIE to over 150+ classmates, friends, and relatives.
Following this screening, Nate and Brian entered the movie in film festivals around the nation, and it was accepted into several nationwide. SUPER MOVIE screened at the Temecula International Film Festival, the Seattle International Film Festival, and the Irvine International Film Festival. ‘SUPER MOVIE’ won 2nd place at the Temecula International Film Festival.
Nate Burns is currently in production on his second movie!
