JJ will be expanding the Firm's expertise in financial planning as the second Planning Specialist to join the Firm. She designs customized personal financial plans for clients including financial goals analysis, estate planning, education planning, tax efficiency, college savings, social security, executive compensation and specializes in retirement and charitable giving. Prior to joining Dowling & Yahnke, JJ worked for five years at a Reston, VA-based financial management firm as a financial advisor. Her previous experience ranges from fixed income analytics to mutual fund consulting.

JJ holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification and has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business. She completed her undergraduate work at Rutgers University with a degree in Physics.
JJ grew up in the Washington, D.C. suburbs. She spent six years in Los Angeles before relocating to the East Coast. She moved back to California in 2016 and is excited to be living on the West Coast. JJ has previously held the title of President in the Loudoun County Chapter of the National Association for Professional Women.
