FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. & NICEVILLE, Fla. - Sept. 20, 2016 - PRLog -- Doc's Oyster Bar and Grill and One 20, A Modern Bistro, have been named part of the Top Ten Percent, a collective of the best small businesses on the Emerald Coast.
In order to qualify, consumers must first nominate their favorite small businesses. The nominations are reviewed and go through two legs of an evaluation process. If the business scores well enough, it is invited to be featured on the Top Ten Percent mobile platform, which offers pricing discounts to a consumer base.
Doc's Oyster Bar, located in Valparaiso on Tom's Bayou, offers casual dining and a rustic, fun atmosphere. With a multi-tiered deck, there are many places to pull up a stool and feel as though you are right over the water. Nominating customers of Doc's pointed to the seafood, craft beer and atmosphere as the draws that make this place a local favorite.
One 20 Bistro, located just off John Sims Parkway on Partin, provides a completely different dining experience. With a modern eclectic atmosphere, Chef Pettis presents creations that provide flavors from around the world. Nominating customers stated that the combination of flavors is what makes One 20 a top restaurant in the area.
"Customers tell us which small businesses are the ones they really like," said a Top Ten Percent representative. "The difference in offerings businesses provide may be vast, but so are the different desires of consumers. One 20 Bistro and Doc's Oyster Bar and Grill are a great example of that."
While Top Ten Percent will eventually spread throughout the Emerald Coast, it has been focused on connecting small businesses with their consumers in the Niceville area.
