Reports: Tesla slashes parts orders, brings seats in-house amid Model 3 production woes

Tesla CEO Elon Musk reportedly is demanding that the company perform more work on its mass-market Model 3 in house, which could be part of the reason it hasn’t made much progress toward building 500,000 vehicles annually by next year.
