Outside investors gain seats on board of Austin's Jones Energy

An activist investor that earlier this year began targeting Jones Energy Inc. in November has won more concessions from the Austin-based oil-and-gas driller. Filings also show that the company's chief operating officer resigned in December, a month after the activist investor began pushing for operational changes.
