Philly Hall of Fame partners with Spike's Trophies and the Mural Arts Program
PHILADELPHIA - March 9, 2018 - PRLog -- Three years ago the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame and Spike's Trophies partnered with the Philadelphia Mural Arts program to create the City of Champions Mural honoring area champions dating back to the early 1900s:   https://www.gospikes.com/t-mural.aspx

Now, the three organizations are back together to create the Eagles Super Bowl Mural. This is the team's first Super Bowl Championship so it is fitting that this is the first installment for the continuation of the City of Champions on the opposite side of Spike's building at 2701 Grant Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia.

Fundraising is underway to help defray the costs of paint, supplies, labor and other expenses and Philly Sports Fans are invited to be a part of history.

"The artist's preliminary design (left) is an enduring tribute to such an historic accomplishment and captures the post-Super Bowl euphoria throughout the area," said Ken Avallon, Hall of Fame President, "This is a great opportunity for Philly sports fans to be a part of history with donations of any size."

For donations above the "Super Bowl LII" level of $52, the contributor's name will be on the permanent plaque dedicating the mural.

A Go Fund Me page has been established to all fans to contribute:
