Harvard, MIT launch effort to make the FDA more efficient

"If the whole system got 10 percent more efficient, not only would more drugs that are useful and safe get to patients faster, we’d do it in a way that’s less costly and reduce some of the barriers to innovation," said Brian Alexander, director of the new Harvard-MIT Center for Regulatory Science.
