AUSTIN, Texas - July 10, 2018 - PRLog -- Music Firsthand, the producer of the popular live streaming show Comedians Interviewing Musicians is launching a new app called "Music Firsthand". The goal of the app is to make it easier for artists and businesses to find a match and book live performances. The app is in private beta on iOS and Android and can be requested at musicfirsthand.live.
"We invested a lot of time listening to artists and businesses to ensure we met their needs before opening up the beta," commented Kris Potrafka, CEO of Music Firsthand. "We were thrilled with the response. Within a couple weeks over 100 musicians set up their profiles. The first reaction from businesses has been, to put it bluntly, 'badass.'" Early business users include popular breweries, cafes, advertising agencies, event companies, and large technology firms in the Austin area.

The way it works is that artists and businesses select images associated with the brand experience they are creating and their preferences for well-known artists. The proprietary matching algorithm instantly generates customized matches for that unique event. From there, users slide and swipe through profiles, review schedules and rates, message, book, and share the experience. Potrafka designed the app with the belief that a better fit leads to a better experience.

During the beta testing Music Firsthand is offering to set up users' profiles and promote the public events booked on the platform for free.
