PAWTUCKET, R.I. - July 11, 2018 - PRLog -- Artist and sculptor Anastasia Azure has grown her clientele exponentially through the use of social media. Recently, Anastasia's innovative artwork attracted the eye of a Hungarian art consultant on Instagram, leading to her largest project to date. Fifteen woven wall sculptures were commissioned for an overseas installation. This led to the expansion of her studio at the Hope Artiste Village in Pawtucket, RI, a harmoniously designed space for production and exhibition.

With guidance from The Chaffee International Center for Global Business, Anastasia Azure Designs has also developed new opportunities for local artists through sharing her artistic expression abroad and is expanding into a small exporting business. Anastasia has utilized grants through the State Trade Expansion Program to build an international brand and compete in a global market.

Anastasia combines ancient weaving, traditional metalsmithing and contemporary materials to create geometric sculptures and jewelry, designed to bring serenity to a space. Her largest international project will proudly be displayed in the newly built Grand Hyatt, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, slated to open its doors late summer 2018. The 5-star property will display Anastasia's architectural, interior décor in the atrium lobby among many other works by respected artists. Additional work by Anastasia can be found in the Ritz Carlton - Half Moon Bay, CA, and the Hilton in Singapore.

"My sculptures explore the harmonious structure of our universe through radial symmetry. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to share my expression of tranquility with the world", as stated by Anastasia.

The success of this project inspired Anastasia to continue offering a personal experience to her social media audience. She documents and shares new creations and captivating views of her creative process with her followers; enhancing their appreciation for her craft and exposing her work to global art collectors, agents and enthusiasts.

Anastasia began her journey as an artist through the fabrication of jewelry while attending high school at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts, San Francisco in 2001.  She continued her education, earning a BFA from California College of the Arts and MFA from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Anastasia's innovative woven sculptures have won a collection of Niche Awards, in addition to 1st prize for Excellence in Fiber 2018, for her sculpture "Neutral Zenith".  Her work has been published in books, collected by museums, and exhibited nationally and internationally at galleries and public spaces.
