Tesla’s alleged saboteur claims carmaker lied to investors about production numbers

A fired Tesla employee who admits he sent damaging information to a reporter filed a tip this week with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, claiming Tesla deliberately lied to investors and put consumers at risk with faulty batteries.
