Uber, Lyft agree to proposed ridehail tax in San Francisco

The proposed tax, which is set to appear on the 2019 San Francisco ballot, would place a 3.25 percent tax rate on “single-use” rides and a 1.5 percent tax rate on “carpool share” rides.
