African American Community Service Agency to Celebrate Four Decades of Impactful Service in San Jose at 40th Annual Gala

Highly-anticipated October 6 event will honor black excellence and salute distinguished community and corporate leaders
SAN JOSE, Calif. - Aug. 29, 2018 - PRLog -- The African American Community Service Agency (AACSA), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people live healthier, happier lives in San Jose and Santa Clara County, today announced it will host its 40th Annual Gala on Saturday, October 6, 2018. The black-tie event will be held at the Fairmont San Jose, and will serve as a fundraiser to maintain and expand operation and service funds, for programs like AACSA's character-building Leadership Academy. Commemorating AACSA's 40 years in the San Jose and Silicon Valley area, the evening's festivities, honors and entertainment will include include keynote speaker Susan L. Taylor, former editor in chief of Essence Magazine, a VIP reception, live performance by We Are One Band, followed by a delicious dinner and live auction.

"It's an exciting time for our organization, community, and the people whose lives have benefited or been impacted by the services, programs and events AACSA offers," said Milan Balinton, executive director of African American Community Service Agency.
