New York Chicken® Signs Deals with Al Marzooq Group for Expansion into the Kingdom of Bahrain

MANAMA, Bahrain - Aug. 31, 2018 - PRLog -- With its second international franchise agreement, New York Chicken® is in global expansion mode. The fried chicken brand signed a deal last month for expansion into India and its most recent deal signed with Al Marzooq Group is to enter the Bahrain market. Bahrain's economy is buoyed by the tourism sector and the country is home to the United States Navy Fifth Fleet.

Al Marzooq Group, a diversified family-owned business group in the Kingdom of Bahrain operating in the field of real estate development, contracting, maintenance, cleaning, water bottling, bakeries and restaurants has committed to open at least five New York Chicken® outlets in the Gulf kingdom. The first restaurant is scheduled to open before the end of 2018. The New York Chicken® locations in Bahrain will feature the signature core menu as well as local flavor menu offerings which will be introduced and rolled out over time.

Priding itself on using fresh high quality ingredients and a proprietary hand-breading technique, New York Chicken® has built its reputation as an East Coast favorite. The majority of the chicken and other items for the operation will be locally sourced as per the brand standards. All chicken that will be used in Bahrain shall be Halal as per local traditions and norms.
