The adventure almost came to an end however when 2 random gunshots almost hit the American tourist. The bullet did not hit the hiker but it did leave him shaken and bruised. Pressure from the impact of the bullet left a bruise-mark on James wrist in the form of the watch casing. According to him, a local doctor said its surprising his carpus, ulna, nor radius bones were damaged by the male-targeted shots. A direct-on hit might have had a totally different result.
