Tourism economy up to $21.6 billion in 2018, one-fourth from Milwaukee area

The state added $1 billion to its tourism economy last year, representing a 4.6% annual increase. Greater Milwaukee accounted for $5.7 billion of that total, or 26%, making it once again the largest tourism market in the state.
