UPDATE 1-Crane Co offers to buy rival Circor for about $894 mln

U.S. industrial manufacturer Crane Co said on Tuesday it had offered to buy smaller rival Circor International Inc for about $894 million, seeking to expand its pumps and valves portfolio.
