Duke Energy seeks to hasten decommissioning plan for Florida nuclear plant

Duke Energy Florida has contracted with Accelerated Decommissioning Partners, a joint venture between New York-based NorthStar Group Services and Washington-based Orano USA, to close the plant within eight years, almost 50 years ahead of schedule.
