KU Health will spend $39M-$45M on equipment for new cancer treatment

KU Health will bring proton therapy to the Kansas City region for the first time with a new facility expected to break ground later this year. The proton therapy system is expected to cost $39 million-$45 million for the unit plus an additional $25 million-$35 million to build a facility for it.
