PUC OKs lower rate increase for Peoples Natural Gas

The average monthly bill in its Peoples Division would increase 7.5 percent from $74.24 to $79.84, while the Equitable Division would go up 12.8 percent from $70.79 to $79.84. Peoples has a total of 622,000 residential and business customers.
