S.F. Supervisors push forward with emergency ordinance to procure hotel space for homeless

If approved, the ordinance would legally compel Mayor London Breed and supervisory agencies to acquire 8,000 private hotel rooms to preventatively quarantine the homeless population vulnerable to COVID-19.
