The Lundquist Institute announced today the launch of a new series of online webinars, The Lundquist Community Science Series, which will feature its internationally renowned physicians and scientists, who will be covering timely topics in areas of biomedical research and healthcare on a regular basis.
The first in the series will be COVID-19: What Lies Ahead and will be live online on Wednesday, July 29 at 6 p.m. Pacific Time. Moderated by Lundquist President and CEO Dr. David Meyer, the virtual webinar will include Dr. Scott Filler discussing the treatment of COVID-19, Dr. Ira Lesser on the mental health aspects of COVID-19, Dr. Joaquin Madrenas on immunity to COVID-19, Dr. Lauren Miller on prevention and transmission of the disease, and Dr. Michael Yeaman on vaccines.
