New York City, Nov 20, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Rebekah is a registered nurse specializing in medical-surgical nursing and pediatrics. She works on the medical-surgical floor at Kell West Regional Hospital. She loves going to work, as she gets to see different patients every day and learn new things.

Kell West Regional Hospital is an acute care hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas offering a wide range of services for patients. "Our mission is to provide quality health care and superior customer service. While the primary role of our organization is to meet the health care needs of the communities we serve, it is our intent to ensure the satisfaction of patients and physicians utilizing our facility. Our vision is to provide another choice for quality health care for North Texas. Every aspect of our care is geared toward a positive healthcare experience for you and your family" as stated on their website.

When she was eight years old, Rebekah's mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. The nurses at the hospital caring for her mother amazed her and she told herself that one day, she would like to be like them and help others.

In May of 2019, Rebekah graduated with her nursing degree from Vernon College. From there, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Houston Baptist University in August of 2020.

A member of the The National Society of Leadership and Success, she holds certificates in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS - not intended for postnominal use).

A Registered Nurse (RN) is a nurse who has graduated from a nursing program and met the requirements outlined by a country, state, province or similar licensing body to obtain a nursing license. Other RN job functions include leadership, research, performing diagnostic tests and analyzing results, operating medical equipment, administering medications, recording patients' symptoms and medical histories, and assisting with patient rehabilitation and follow-up.
