Having been practicing pediatrics in Marietta since 1985, Dr. Licata served as President and Chief of the Department of Pediatrics at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite from 1992-1994, and as President of the Medical and Surgical staff in 1996. He served as Chairman of The Children's Healthcare Network Board for 7 years, and has been on the Board of the Children's Care Network since its inception. In 1999, Dr. Licata formed Pediatric Associates of Johns Creek and now employs four experienced Pediatricians at that location.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Licata is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
