With over two decades of experience in health technology and a decade of experience in medical care in extreme and remote environments, she will provide valuable expertise that will further CAI's mission of commercializing breakthrough technologies for good.
Dr. Sawyer, at UCSF (University of California San Francisco), is spearheading innovation in space health as Founder/Director of the UC Space Health Innovation Center, having spent 2 years as the Chief Health Innovation Officer for the NASA-funded Translational Research Institute for Space Health (TRISH).
"I focus on the development and translation of novel evidence-based technologies at UCSF and collaborative institutions, with a particular emphasis on the incorporation of front-line innovation. Remote medical management as well as enabling precision health are keen interests of mine. I look forward to working with the CAI team and applying my knowledge to their creative efforts in transforming healthcare," Sawyer said.
