He then went on to perform his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine and fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the Eastern Virginia Medical School of the Medical College of Hampton Roads.
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, he is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology & maternal-fetal medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
