This was followed by a fellowship in surgical critical care at the University of North Carolina/UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, and a burn/burn reconstruction fellowship at the University of Washington/Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.
