Meeetatcube lets you have VR cubical space to meet people. It is like Zoom, Minecraft, and Spatial Chat together. You can talk others in the three dimensional space which it is NOT necessary to see other's face as you talking.
Santa Monica, California Jan 25, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - I created the web service "Meetatcube" against lockdown by COVID-19. It helps people organizing an event in Virtual reality cubical space.
I have been working remotely outside of the office because of the virus which lets me think I want to do something for someone who had trouble with losing the chance to organize an event.
Here is the web service I created.
It is an alternative for Zoom, Minecraft, and Spatial Chat. You can use your smartphone and webcam to create your avatar with the actual facial image in VR cubical space.
If you had planned to organize an event but couldn't make it because of COVID-19 I would like you to take a look at this service. You can set up an art gallery, exhibition booth, or museum in which people can walk around in the space and talk with others.
When I was a student, my friend and professor planed together to hold an art event involving artists, performers, facilities so-on. If imagining there was COVID-19 and forced to be canceled, the event must have gone nothing.
In the actual event, it is okay for attendees to be alone enjoying just being in the environment of the event. and you don't need to talk looking at other's faces. I could not find such a web service. Spatial chat is very close to my thought! But the service also needs people to see each other while talking.
If your friend is in trouble with it, sharing this with them will be appreciated. This is still a beta version, I still keep finding if there are people who really need to organize an event in VR space.
If interesting, any discussion will be greatly valued.
